The Raiders were victorious against Carl Sandburg 6-3 in the final game of the 3 game series on Sunday.

The Raiders opened the scoring in the second after Kole Burger grounded out, scoring one run.

The Raiders added to their early lead in the bottom of the third inning after Carl Sandburg dropped a third strike, and Jaxon Jones hit a sacrifice fly, each scoring one run.

Chuck Hathaway homered to right field, scoring two runs in the top of the fifth for the Chargers.

Dalton Forck earned the win for The Raiders. The hurler gave up four hits and zero runs over four innings, striking out five and walking one. Nathan Hill started the game for Carl Sandburg Chargers. The pitcher gave up three hits and five runs (one earned) over three and two-thirds innings, striking out four and walking five. Ashton Williams threw one and one-third innings of shutout ball for The Raiders in relief. The righty allowed zero hits, striking out one and walking none.

Jones provided pop in the middle of the lineup, and led The Raiders with two runs batted in. The catcher went 2-for-3 on the day. Dax Webb paced The Raiders with two walks. Overall, the team had patience at the plate, tallying seven walks for the game. The Raiders stole four bases in the game. The Raiders also turned one double play in the game.

Kody Knecht and Jameson Dickerson were a force together in the lineup, as they each collected two hits for Carl Sandburg Chargers while hitting back-to-back. Hathaway went 1-for-4 at the plate and led the team with two runs batted in.
