Three Rivers split its four-game series against Metropolitan after giving up a walk-off walk in the final game of the series Monday.
On Sunday, Three Rivers won the opener 15-6 and lost the nightcap 10-2. On Monday, the Raiders also won the opener 7-3 and lost the nightcap 5-4.
"Not a horrible day, but it could have been better," Three Rivers coach Tyler Smith said. "We played three games well … We could have easily won the series."
The Raiders (18-15, 6-10 Region XVI) led 4-3, heading into the bottom of the ninth.
With two on, TJ Nichols singled to tie the game. Anthony Marcano drew a walk to load the bases, and the Raiders got a 5-2 fielder's choice for the second out.
Michael White worked a full count before throwing ball four to end the game.
"If we keep putting ourselves in positions to win games, we will," Smith said.
Andrew Lara was 3 for 5 for the Raiders. Lane Baremore and Hunter Gray each got two hits.
Gray had a leadoff home run in the third inning and scored in the fifth after reaching on a walk.
In the opener, the Raiders scored four runs and batted around in the first inning.
The first four in the lineup all reached and scored. Alex Cauley got a three-run double, and Nathan Browning later drew a bases-loaded walk.
Lara and Kolten Poorman each scored a second time in the seventh inning.
Baremore and Mason Libla each got two hits.
Cody Bond (2-2) started and struck out five over four innings to get the win. He allowed four hits and three walks with five strikeouts.
Michael White took the mound with the bases loaded in the seventh inning and got a popup to shortstop to get his second save of the season.
Metropolitan (8-13, 8-10) added two runs in the seventh inning.
Three Rivers scored seven runs in the sixth inning of Sunday's opener.
Poorman got things going with a two-run single with the bases loaded.
Bryan Montanez drew a walk with the bases loaded, then Libla singled in a run, and Baremore got a sacrifice fly.
Cauley drew his second walk in the inning, and Browning followed with a two-run single.
Browning finished 4 for 4 with three runs and four RBIs to lead the offense out of the No. 9 spot. Lara and Cade Cancilla each had three hits and three RBIs, while Baremore got a pair of doubles.
Three Rivers scored three runs in both the third and fourth after going three up and three down in the first two innings.
Chad Donze (2-3) got the win after allowing six hits, a walk, and a hit batter with seven strikeouts over five innings.
In the nightcap, Three Rivers only got five hits as a team.
Stefan Turino reached on a leadoff error to start the game, and Cancilla doubled him in. Lara got a leadoff double in the sixth and scored on Cancilla's sacrifice for the Raiders' two runs.
Three Rivers brought more than four batters to the plate in only the second inning but stranded two.
Briar Fischer (1-3) pitched 2 1/3 innings in the loss and allowed five hits and a walk with two strikeouts.
