For the men, their weekend games started with a large amount of success, as they defeated Tennessee Valley 104-67 Friday to open the Northeast Mississippi Community College Classic. Six Raiders hit double digits during the game, led by 17 points and 10 rebounds from star guard Matt Hampton. Big man Manuel Camboma had 15 points and 11 rebounds, Antonio Williams had 14 and 5, Easton Evans chipped in 12, while Davin Francis and Tristin Fleming finished with with 11 points each.

However, Saturday's results would prove to go the other way, as the Raiders suffered defeat at the hands of Northeast Mississippi Community College by a 77-71 margin. Williams scored 26 points for the Raiders, and he was supplemented by Camboma's 16 points. Despite shooting over 50 percent from the field, TRC only connected on four three-pointers and turned the ball over 15 times, resulting in defeat.

They will next be in action Tuesday evening, taking on John A. Logan College on the road.
